Salt in the Wound, October 2000
Site-specific intervention at St-Laurent Blvd. and Milton, Montreal, Quebec
Action done for the third part of a trilogy of short performance videos, SPLIT: The Second Half. Salt in the Wound explores the fluid nature of security/insecurity, visibility/invisibility and fear/desire. Initially, one naked person (Victoria) walked the length of a store-front restaurant and was then joined by five others (Patrick Goddard, Aneessa Hashmi, T. NgChan, Vincent Tinguely and Josée Tremblay) for the same walk. Based on the one-woman spoken word show SPLIT and its successor, SPLIT: One Year Later.

SPLIT: One Year Later, April 2000
Galerie Dare-Dare, Montreal, Quebec, a solo spoken-word performance presented as part of the process-based solo exhibition of the same name
A series of poetic and narrative texts performed through storytelling, sound and movement, this hour-long performance chronicled personal and institutional relationships to uncover the connections and contradictions inherent within them and ourselves (and the many parts of one's "self").
