Salt in the Wound, October 2000 Site-specific intervention at
St-Laurent Blvd. and Milton, Montreal, Quebec Action done for the third part of a
trilogy of short performance videos, SPLIT: The Second
Half. Salt in the Wound explores the fluid nature
of security/insecurity, visibility/invisibility and fear/desire.
Initially, one naked person (Victoria) walked the length of
a store-front restaurant and was then joined by five others
(Patrick Goddard, Aneessa Hashmi, T. NgChan, Vincent Tinguely
and Josée
Tremblay) for the same walk. Based on the one-woman spoken
word show SPLIT and its successor, SPLIT: One Year
Later.

Later, April 2000 Galerie Dare-Dare, Montreal, Quebec,
a solo spoken-word performance presented as part of the process-based
solo exhibition of the same name A series of poetic and narrative texts
performed through storytelling, sound and movement, this hour-long
performance chronicled personal and institutional relationships
to uncover the connections and contradictions inherent within
them and ourselves (and the many parts of one's "self").
